On the 11th November the Lyceum Club had a trip to Peniche, visiting during the morning the Church of S. Pedro and the Museum of Bilros Laces. After lunch we visited the Bilros Lace School where we were fascinated by the mastery of the lace-makers.
After a walk along the waterfront, we visited the interesting Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora dos Remédios. It was another pleasant day of conviviality between all the members present, celebrating St. Martin’s Day.
