Club for women interested in art, literature, sciences and social issues, and in a life of continuous learning
The Lyceum International Lisbon Club aims to bring together women who are interested in art, literature, science and social problems and who wish to:
- develop relationships between them based on an ideal of friendship, solidarity and mutual aid, in order to better know, understand and help each other;
- contribute to the promotion of knowledge of the cultural, regional and local heritage;
- establish friendly relations with women from other countries, whether or not they belong to other Clubs.
To this end, the Club provides a series of cultural activities, such as: guided tours of museums, palaces and other places of cultural interest; travel to different locations in Portugal and Spain; teas with thematic debates with the presence of speakers; visits to exhibitions; among others. See our activity programs.
The Lisbon Club is affiliated in the International Association of Lyceum Clubs (IALC).
