On 27 November, the Club organised a guided tour of SIC’s facilities, including the studios, newsroom, video/audio pre-production and continuity areas, as well as various work areas such as the podcast recording and make-up rooms.
Below, the studio from which anchors Clara de Sousa and Rodrigo Guedes de Carvalho broadcast Jornal da Noite (the night primetime news).
In another room, deliberately painted green due to the effect of light on people when broadcasting various programmes, as it is the colour furthest from human skin tones.
During the visit, we met and spoke with some familiar faces, such as Luís Pedro Nunes (Axis of Evil), who was recording in this very room, journalist Teresa Dimas, Conceição Lino, José Gomes Ferreira (Economics) and Pedro Andersson (Savings), among others.
Without a doubt, an interesting visit that surprised us in some ways.
