Holidays farewell lunch
The past July 8th the Lisbon Club held a pleasant gathering as a holidays farewell lunch, at the Monte Mar restaurant near the Tagus river, counting 23 members. The current Board wishes all Club members a very happy holidays season, hoping that next trimester we may finally resume our usual activities.

SOS Memory
On the 4th of May, the Lisbon Club had, through Zoom, a very interesting and enlightening conference, presented by our dear member Evredike Sampaio, based on the topic addressed in the book “SOS Memory”, written by Dr. Daniel G. Amen.
The Country of the Oranges
On the 27th of April, the Lyceum Club organised a Zoom web conference with the writer Dr. Maria do Rosário Alçada Araújo, author of the book “The Country of the Oranges”, which addresses the theme of the Austrian children who came to Portugal during the post-war period, in1949.

Web conference on Nikias Scapinakis
Last 30th January, our Club member Maria José Cadete organised an interesting conference on the theme “Nikias Scapinakis and the four critics”. On the 6th February, she again conducted a conference, this time about the Portuguese paintor Noronha da Costa.
Christmas lunch
Last 17th December the Club celebrated our traditional Christmas lunch, although with a reduced participation of the Club’s members when compared with the usual engagement in the event, due to the effects and risks of the coronavirus pandemic and the necessary confinement.
Tour of the Urban Art in Lisbon
